Welcome to our campus!
The doors of the new Guardian Catholic School opened for the very first time on August 14, 2017. We welcomed 420 Pre-K3 through 8th grade students for the 2017-2018 school year, bringing together the students, faculty and staff of Holy Rosary and St. Pius V -- as well as some fresh faces--on a single, integrated campus. The new school features updated classrooms, a learning commons (a merger of the computer room and library), a brand-new gymnasium, and a playground centered in the middle of the campus. The existing Early Learning Center was also expanded to include an additional classroom for each grade level to accommodate more students.
Continuing the Legacy
On October 30, 2017 Bishop Felipe Estevez presided over a special Mass, blessing, and ribbon-cutting ceremony to give thanks for this new facility. The Mass was held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church and was followed by a dedication in the courtyard of the new school. Students, staff and community stakeholders all gathered to celebrate the momentous occasion and watch the cutting of the giant blue ribbon. Afterward, Bishop Estevez led a small procession through the school during which he blessed each room, while guests mingled in the new cafeteria over cupcakes.
