Coach Ruiz is one of the two PE teachers at Guardian Catholic School. The 2019-2020 school year is her 3rd year of being a professional educator at GCS. She earned her bachelor of science degree in Physical Education Teacher Education (PETE) with minor in Sociology from the University of West Florida. Coach Ruiz grew up in Pensacola, FL in an active duty Marine Corps family. Her hobbies are running, going to the beach, walking her dogs, and exploring nature. She enjoys sharing her love for physical activity and sports and strives to inspire students to stay active for life.
